It is built for homes or small offices where extra wall ports are unavailable and running new cabling is impractical. The adapter requires the included USB power cable to operate and cannot function without an active power connection.

Sustained gigabit throughput on each port

Under continuous load each of the two female ports delivers up to 1000 Mbps and the signals remain isolated so they do not interfere with each other. The physical tapping method divides the available bandwidth rather than switching it, so total throughput is shared between the connected devices. IPTV signals are not supported and the splitter does not assign IP addresses.

Plug-and-play with mandatory USB power

Installation is a simple matter of connecting the incoming cable, plugging in the two outgoing cables, and attaching the 80 cm USB lead to a stable power source.
