4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch with Audio Extraction

The Jansicotek OZJ1-1 routes four HDMI sources to two independent displays at up to 4K@60Hz resolution. It extracts audio from the selected input through two optical Toslink ports and two 3.5mm stereo outputs, supporting LPCM, Dolby and DTS 5.1 channel formats. The unit includes an infrared remote for convenient source switching in home theatres, conference rooms or digital-signage installations.

Installation and EDID Management

Connect each source to one of the four HDMI inputs and each display to the two HDMI outputs using cables no longer than 10 metres with AWG26 conductors. EDID is copied from Output A only, so both screens must share compatible timing; if they differ, select the appropriate EDID mode on the front panel and power-cycle the matrix to apply the change. The supplied optical cables simplify audio wiring without extra purchases.

HDMI 2.0b Bandwidth Limits

The switch passes 18.5Gbps with a TMDS clock up to 600MHz, enabling 3840x2160@60Hz RGB 4:4:4 and HDR within the HDMI 2.0b specification. Deep-colour modes up to 48-bit are supported, but bandwidth restricts higher refresh rates or resolutions beyond 4K@60Hz. Cable runs exceeding 10 metres may degrade signal integrity at the maximum data rate.
