Two-PC USB-C KVM Switch

The Jansicotek OZK5 lets two USB-C computers share one DisplayPort or HDMI monitor plus four USB 2.0 peripherals. It supports 8K at 60 Hz with DSC when the host provides Thunderbolt 4, and 4K at up to 144 Hz with DSC. A push button on the unit toggles the active system, and LEDs show which port is live. External power via the included USB-A-to-C cable is required for operation.

For dual-system desks, not multi-monitor rigs

This switch suits users who alternate between two laptops or a laptop and a desktop on a single screen and want keyboard, mouse and two extra USB devices to follow the switch. It will not drive two monitors simultaneously, and it cannot pass USB 3.x or Thunderbolt data through its four downstream ports. Buyers who need more than two computer inputs or higher-speed peripheral passthrough should look elsewhere.

Steady 8K throughput with active cooling not needed

Under continuous use the aluminium enclosure dissipates heat without a fan, keeping signal integrity stable during long work sessions. The 1.2 m Gen 2 cables maintain the 480 Mbps USB 2.0 link and the full DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 bandwidth up to the stated 2.0 m maximum. Auto-scan can cycle every 3 seconds, but manual switching avoids any brief signal renegotiation delay.

Questions about this item

Do both of my computers need USB-C ports that support Thunderbolt 4 to reach 8K@60Hz?

Yes, the switch requires Thunderbolt 4 on each USB-C input to deliver 8K@60Hz; Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C Gen 2 max out at 4K@60Hz.

Will my existing 1080p@165Hz monitor work through the HDMI 2.1 output?

The HDMI 2.1 port supports 1080p@165Hz, so a 1080p high-refresh monitor will work without changes.

How do I confirm the switch is actively passing 8K@60Hz after I press the front button?

The LED indicator shows the active PC, and your OS display settings should report 7680×4320@60Hz with DSC enabled.
