Two-computer USB-C KVM

The Jansicotek OZK7 lets two USB-C laptops or desktops share a single DisplayPort or HDMI monitor, three USB 2.0 peripherals and a 3.5 mm audio device. Push-button switching and a three-second auto-scan interval give instant control without software. An aluminium alloy chassis keeps the unit compact for desk or travel use.

Cable routing and power limits

Two 1.2 metre USB-C Gen 2 cables and a USB-A to USB-C power cable are included, so basic connection is straightforward. Each computer port accepts up to 100 W of Power Delivery at 5 V, 9 V, 15 V or 20 V, but the switch draws its own power from that budget, so the host receives slightly less than the adapter rating. Only one video output — DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 — can be active at a time.

Sustained 8K throughput

The DP 1.4 path delivers 32.4 Gbps and the HDMI 2.1 path 48 Gbps, supporting 8K at 60 Hz with DSC, 4K at 144 Hz with DSC and 1080p at 165 Hz. Deep colour at 8, 10 or 12 bit and chroma sampling up to 4:4:4 are maintained continuously. USB 2.0 peripherals run at 480 Mbps without bandwidth contention during long sessions.
