What it is

The Jansicotek OZQ1 is a compact three-input HDMI switch that routes video and audio from multiple source devices to a single display. It suits anyone with a TV, monitor or projector that has only one HDMI port but needs to connect a console, streaming stick and laptop simultaneously.

Deciding specification

The unit handles 4K at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth and full HDCP 2.2 compliance. If your sources and display require that exact combination, this switch will pass the signal without degradation; if you need higher refresh rates or newer HDMI features, it will not meet the requirement.

Who it suits

Ideal for home-theatre owners who want simple manual switching between three 4K60 sources without unplugging cables. Not for users who need automatic switching, remote control, more than three inputs, or the ability to send one source to multiple displays.

Questions about this item

What does the 18 Gbps bandwidth deliver on my TV?

It carries 4K at 60 Hz with 12-bit colour and HDR, so movies and games keep full detail and smooth motion.

Which HDMI standard is used and what does it limit?

HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 caps the link at 18 Gbps, allowing 4K 60 Hz but not higher refresh rates or 8K signals.

How much space does the 5.91 x 2.36 x .79 inch box need?

It fits on a shelf or behind a display; the 50 cm pigtail reaches nearby ports without strain.
