Four-input HDMI switch with audio extraction

The Jansicotek OZQ7 routes four HDMI sources to a single display at up to 4K@60Hz and 18.5Gbps bandwidth. It provides an HDMI output with ARC, plus Toslink, coaxial and 3.5mm stereo outputs for separate audio routing. The unit supports 480i through 1080p and 4K formats with 24, 30 or 36-bit deep colour. A remote control and 5V power adapter are included.

Signal integrity over typical cable runs

HDMI 2.0 cables up to three metres maintain 4K@60Hz without lag, flash or resolution drop; at 4K@30Hz the reach extends to five metres. The switch passes Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD, AC3, DTS and DSD bitstreams but does not decode them. Coaxial and Toslink ports return ARC audio from a compatible display, while the 3.5mm jack extracts stereo only. Maximum per-channel bandwidth is 300MHz and 10.2Gbps.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify each source can output a resolution and refresh rate listed in the supported formats. Confirm your display accepts ARC on its HDMI input if you plan to use the Toslink or coaxial return path. The 3.5mm output will not carry ARC audio. The switch is not compatible with DVI signals, so HDMI-to-DVI cables should not be used. A free mains socket is required for the supplied 5V/1A adapter.

Questions about this item

Does the 18.5Gbps bandwidth or 300MHz clock generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day use?

The unit is passively cooled with no fan, so it runs silently; typical warmth is low because it only switches and extracts audio without heavy processing.

Which cables and power source must I already have to connect four sources and extract audio via Toslink or coaxial?

You need four HDMI 2.0 cables for the inputs, one HDMI 2.0 cable for the output, a Toslink or coaxial cable for your sound system, and a free mains socket for the included 5V/1A DC adapter.

Will a legacy 1080p@60Hz source switch cleanly alongside a 4K@60Hz console on the same OZQ7?

Yes — the switch accepts 480i through 4K@60Hz on any port and scales each signal independently, so older 1080p gear and newer 4K sources work together without manual reconfiguration.
