4-in-3 Composite AV Switch

The Jansicotek OZQV routes composite video and stereo audio from four source devices to three displays. It suits households with multiple TVs that share a pool of legacy players such as DVD units, VCRs or retro consoles. No software or drivers are required for operation.

Before connecting

Verify each source and display provides a standard three-RCA composite connection carrying video, left audio and right audio. The switch does not convert signal types or support matrix routing. A 5 V 1 A power adapter is included and must be used for the unit to function.

In the rack

The metal chassis measures 5.91 x 2.36 x 0.79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces, fitting on a shelf or behind a cabinet. Front-panel buttons and an IR remote select which of the four inputs feeds all three outputs simultaneously. Colour-coded RCA sockets simplify cable management during installation.

Questions about this item

Does the box include cables or only the switcher, power adapter, remote and manual?

The package contains the AV switcher, a 5V/1A power adapter, an IR remote control without a battery and a user manual; composite RCA cables are not included.

The model is listed as OZQV with a single part number; are there alternative versions or capacities to choose from?

Only the OZQV model is offered; there are no other versions or capacity options for this 4-in-3-out composite switcher.

The video input signal range is 0.8–1.0 volts p-p at 75 ohm; what does that mean for picture quality on a typical TV?

The range matches standard composite video levels, so the switcher passes the signal unchanged and the TV will display the same picture quality as a direct connection.
