What this cable does

This Jansicotek PQ108 two-pack connects USB-A hosts to USB-C devices. Each cable handles data at 10 Gbps and delivers up to 3 A at 60 W using QC 3.0. A 56 kΩ pull-up resistor ensures stable charging. The 10 ft length suits desks or nightstands.

The spec that decides fit

The connector is USB-A male to USB-C male only. It will not plug into Micro-USB or Lightning ports, and it does not carry video signals. If your host or peripheral uses a different port, this cable cannot be used.

Who should buy and who should not

Buyers needing fast file sync between USB-A computers and USB-C SSDs, phones or tablets gain 10 Gbps throughput. Users requiring more than 3 A, display output, or connections for Micro-USB or Lightning devices must choose a different cable.

Questions about this item

What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when I plug this cable into my computer?

You can move large files such as photo libraries or video projects at up to 1250 MB/s, provided both the host port and the connected device support USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds.

How does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface limit what I can do with this cable?

The connection tops out at 10 Gbps data and 60 W power delivery, and it does not carry a video signal so external monitors will not work.

Will the 10 ft length and metal connectors fit my desktop ports without strain?

The 10-foot cable reaches rear-panel ports easily, and the male USB-A and male USB-C metal plugs seat securely in standard sockets.
