Speed and power limits

The cables operate at USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gbps, reaching 1250 MB/s in ideal conditions, and support 3 A at 20 V for 60 W charging. They do not carry video signals, so they cannot drive a display. Actual throughput depends on the host port, the device and the file type.

Check your ports and charger

Verify that your computer or hub provides a USB-A receptacle and that the target device uses a USB-C plug. For fast charging you need a QC 3.0 compatible charger and a device that accepts 3 A input; otherwise the cable will fall back to standard 5 V negotiation.
