Control two computers across dual monitors at up to 8K@60Hz with four USB 3.0 ports and push-button or desktop switching
The Jansicotek SW223-2DP connects two computers to two DisplayPort monitors, a shared keyboard, mouse and up to four USB 3.0 peripherals. It delivers video up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and supports 4K at 120 Hz for high-refresh gaming or creative work. A front-panel button and a wired desktop controller provide instant source switching. The aluminium chassis measures 150 x 65 x 35 mm and includes a DC power adapter.
Users who need simultaneous extended or duplicate desktops across two screens will benefit from the 2-in-2-out architecture and EDID emulation. The switch handles Windows, macOS and Linux without drivers and powers high-current USB devices such as external drives. Buyers who require hotkey switching, more than two computer ports or HDMI connectivity should consider a different model.
The single specification that determines compatibility is the 8K 60 Hz ceiling over DisplayPort 1.4 with RGB 4:4:4 colour. Both the source GPU and each monitor must support this resolution and refresh rate, and cables must not exceed 1.5 metres for reliable 8K transmission. If your displays or graphics cards top out at 4K 60 Hz the switch will still function at that lower mode.

Connect each computer with one DisplayPort 1.4 cable and one USB 3.0 data cable to the four input ports, then attach both monitors to the two output ports. The step often missed is plugging in the DC power adapter; the switch will not pass video or USB without it.
The included DisplayPort and USB 3.0 cables are the items most likely to wear out. The aluminum-alloy chassis and internal digital chip have no moving parts, so cable fatigue from repeated plugging is the practical maintenance point.
The hard limit is 7680×4320 at 60 Hz. Pushing 8K at 60 Hz continuously requires a certified 1.5 m DisplayPort 1.4 cable; longer or lower-grade cables will drop the link before the switch itself overheats.
