Triple-monitor KVM for two computers

This DisplayPort KVM switch lets two desktops or laptops share three monitors and four USB 3.0 ports using a single keyboard and mouse. Each connected computer must provide three DisplayPort outputs to drive all three screens. The unit supports extended mode, where each monitor shows a different image, and duplicate mode, where all three monitors mirror the same image. Switching is handled by front-panel push buttons or the included wired desktop controller.

Bundled cables and power adapter

The package includes two USB 3.0 cables for linking the computers, a 12 V/1 A power adapter for stable operation with high-power USB devices, and a wired button switch for remote switching. These accessories remove the need to source separate cables or power supplies and ensure the four USB 3.0 ports can reliably support peripherals such as external drives, printers or scanners. The manual provides setup guidance for both display modes.

DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth limits

The switch follows the DisplayPort 1.4 specification, allowing resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz, with backward compatibility down to 720p. Actual resolution and refresh rate depend on the graphics capability of each connected computer and the quality of the DisplayPort cables used. The three-second auto-scan interval is fixed and cannot be adjusted, and the unit does not convert signals for HDMI or other video interfaces.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 V 1 A power adapter or the wired button switch need replacing after heavy daily use?

The unit ships with a 12 V 1 A external power adapter and a wired remote button; both are standard replaceable accessories if they ever fail.

What is the first bottleneck when running three 8K 60 Hz displays continuously?

The DP 1.4 link caps each monitor at 8K 60 Hz, so sustained 8K 60 Hz on all three outputs is the hard bandwidth ceiling.

How much heat or fan noise does the aluminium chassis produce during all-day operation?

The passively cooled aluminium shell runs silently; only the external 12 V 1 A brick generates modest warmth under full load.
