Four-computer HDMI KVM switch

The Jansicotek SW240-HD lets four computers or laptops share one HDMI monitor and four USB 3.0 peripherals. A single keyboard and mouse control every connected system. Switching is handled by front-panel push buttons or the included desktop controller. The unit ships with four USB 3.0 A-to-A cables, a 12 V 1 A power supply, an IR cable and a remote control.

Each computer needs its own HDMI cable and a USB 3.0 A-to-A cable to reach the switch. For 4K at 60 Hz both the graphics output and the display must support that resolution, and a standard Super Speed HDMI 2.0 cable is required. The switch is backward compatible with USB 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0 devices, so older peripherals will still work. Ensure the external power supply is connected when the unit is in use.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The switch draws power from the supplied 12 V 1 A adapter and has no internal fan, so it runs silently. The compact enclosure measures 5.43 by 5.35 by 1.46 inches and weighs 9.52 ounces, producing negligible heat during typical desktop operation. Auto-scan mode cycles inputs every three seconds without adding audible noise or measurable temperature rise.
