The Jansicotek TJ-A009 is a DisplayPort 1.4 bi-directional switch that lets you connect two sources to one display or one source to two displays. It is built for users who need to share a single high-resolution monitor between two computers or toggle a single computer between two screens without unplugging cables.

Capacity and headroom at 32.4 Gbps

The switch handles 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with 10-bit colour and HDR. It also supports 5K at 60 Hz, 1440p at 165 Hz and lower refresh rates. Bandwidth heads up at 32.4 Gbps, so resolutions or refresh rates beyond the listed maximums will not pass through.

DisplayPort 1.4 practical limits

Two displays cannot show content simultaneously; only one output is active at a time. The unit requires the included USB power cable to operate and will not pass a signal without it. Compatible DisplayPort 1.4 cables are needed to reach the rated resolutions and refresh rates.
