Connects a USB-C or Thunderbolt 4/3 source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display at up to 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz
The Jansicotek TJ-A055 connects a USB-C or Thunderbolt source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz for gaming or creative work. The unidirectional design only transmits from the USB-C host to the monitor.
DisplayPort 1.4 delivers up to 32.4 Gbps continuously, enabling 8K 60 Hz 10-bit HDR or 4K 144 Hz without compression artefacts. DSC version 1.2 provides up to 3:1 visually lossless compression for higher resolutions. Backward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 maintains link stability on older displays.
Solid copper conductors and triple shielding preserve signal integrity over the 3.3 ft length. Zinc alloy shells and gold-plated contacts resist corrosion during repeated mating. Braided nylon jacket protects against bending stress in daily desk use.

Other versions of this model
The cable is a passive copper link with no active electronics, so it produces no measurable heat and adds no power draw beyond the DisplayPort signal itself.
The host needs a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4 video output; a plain USB-C data-only port will not drive the display.
Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 and 1.1, so a 1.2 monitor will run at its native resolution and refresh rate.
