This Jansicotek TJ-A092 adapter connects a Mini DisplayPort source to a standard DisplayPort 1.4 display. The compact 1.8in by .8in dongle houses an 8K transfer protocol chip and supports bi-directional audio and video transmission. It is sold as a two-pack for multi-display setups. The male-to-female design extends reach by about one inch.

Bandwidth limit 32.4 Gbps

The link runs at up to 32.4 Gbps, enabling 7680x4320 at 60 Hz or 3840x2160 at 144 Hz. The adapter is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.2, so older hosts and monitors will still function at their native limits. Thunderbolt ports are not supported, even though the connector looks similar. Audio travels alongside video without extra cables.
