Active USB 3.0 extension cable reaches 33 feet with built-in signal booster chips and a 5V power adapter for stable 5 Gbps data transfer
Cable Length 33 Feet
This 33 foot active extension cable bridges long distances between a host computer and USB peripherals. Built-in signal booster chips prevent data loss over the extended run. It targets setups where the device sits far from the PC, such as VR headsets, security cameras or conference-room webcams. The male-to-female Type A connectors keep the original port orientation.
The cable supports USB 3.0 transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, roughly ten times the 480 Mbps ceiling of USB 2.0. Large file backups and high-definition video streams move comfortably within this bandwidth. Performance drops to legacy speeds when connected to USB 2.0, 1.1 or 1.0 ports. The active electronics require the included 5 V power adapter to maintain signal integrity at full length.
Gold-plated Type A connectors resist oxidation and ensure reliable mating cycles. Inside, tin-plated copper conductors sit under aluminium foil and braided shielding to reject EMI and RFI. The moulded strain relief protects the solder joints during repeated plugging. The separate 5 V power lead adds a second cable to route but guarantees stable current for the booster chips.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0 devices, so older printers and scanners will function at their native 480 Mbps speed.
Check the operating system’s device manager or system report — it should list the connection as SuperSpeed USB 3.0 at 5 Gbps, and large file transfers should complete noticeably faster than on a standard 2.0 cable.
The 5 V USB power adapter is included in the box, so no extra power supply is required for the active extension to operate.
