The Jansicotek U310 is an active USB 3.0 extension cable that stretches a Type-A connection to 50 feet. It uses built-in signal booster chips so the link stays reliable at distances where a passive cord would fail. The cable suits VR headsets such as Oculus Rift or Quest Link, Xbox 360 Kinect, PlayStation gear, printers, webcams and other Type-A peripherals. It works with Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS without any driver installation.

Thermals noise and power

The cable carries no fan or moving parts, so it runs silent and adds no measurable heat to the setup. An included 5 V 2 A AC adapter feeds the booster circuitry, compensating for voltage drop over the long run. Devices drawing more than 900 mA should use that adapter to keep the link stable. Total system power draw is the peripheral's own consumption plus the small overhead of the repeater chips.

Gold-plated Type-A male and female ends resist corrosion through repeated plug cycles.
