Jaspertronics 5R High Pressure Stage Lamp 189W 8000lm 8000K

Jaspertronics 5R Stage Lamp – Compatible Fixtures

The Jaspertronics 5R high-pressure short-arc lamp serves moving-head fixtures such as the Elation Platinum Spot 5R, Clay Paky Sharpy and ADJ Vizi Beam 5RX. It delivers a 8000 lumen output at a colour temperature of 8000K from a 189W arc operating at 75V. The lamp is rated for an average life of 2000 hours and accepts a universal burn position.

Sustained Output Behaviour

During continuous operation the 0.9 mm arc gap maintains stable high-pressure discharge, keeping lumen output consistent across the rated 2000-hour lifespan. The 34.5 mm working distance ensures the optical path remains aligned in fast-moving heads without intensity drop-off. Universal burn position allows any fixture orientation without affecting arc stability or colour rendering.

Thermal and Power Profile

The lamp draws 189W at 75V, concentrating heat within the compact 51 x 56 mm envelope. High-pressure short-arc design requires forced-air cooling in the host fixture to maintain the 2000-hour rating. Power consumption remains steady during extended shows, and the universal burn position prevents hot-spot formation regardless of fixture tilt.
