Sustained Output

The 380 W discharge arc delivers 20,000 lm at 7,500 K with a CRI of 80. A 1.2 mm gap and any burning position keep intensity stable across long sets. Average life is rated at 1,500 hours before output drops below usable levels.

Upgrade Context

This bare bulb replaces a spent MSD380R18 module in the same fixture. The jump is worth it when the original lamp reaches rated hours or shows colour shift. It does not add features the fixture lacks, such as higher wattage or different arc geometry.
