4200W Xenon Lamp for Barco Cinema Projectors

The Jaspertronics DP-2000-4.2kW-LAMP is a 4200W xenon short-arc lamp rated for 1400 hours of operation. It serves professional cinemas, screening rooms and high-demand event venues that require consistent brightness from compatible Barco digital cinema platforms.

Operating Range and Electrical Limits

The lamp runs at 35V and 125A with an input power range of 29404200W. Its 1400-hour warranty rating defines the practical service interval; exceeding this limit risks reduced output and potential arc instability in demanding projection environments.

Mechanical Fit and Daily Handling

Key dimensions include 294mm overall length, 123mm LCL, 6mm cold arc gap, 60mm bulb diameter and 131mm cable length. The 6.0000kg weight demands secure mounting and careful handling during installation to maintain alignment in supported Barco DP series projectors.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 4200W version or a lower-wattage lamp for my DP-2000?

The DP-2000 requires the 4200W xenon L Series lamp; lower-wattage models will not meet the projector's electrical specification.

What does the 1400-hour rating mean for daily cinema use?

It is the warranted service life; at typical theatre schedules the lamp should deliver stable brightness for roughly 1400 operating hours before replacement is recommended.

How does the 35V 125A spec affect installation in a Barco DP-2000?

The lamp operates at 35 volts and 125 amps, matching the DP-2000's power supply, so no voltage or current adjustment is needed during installation.
