Xenon lamp for DP4K-23B projectors

This 4200W xenon lamp is built for the DP4K-23B and compatible Barco digital cinema projectors. It replaces the Ushio DXL-40BAF/L and Barco R9855974 part numbers. The unit weighs 6.0000 and ships new for professional exhibition installations.

1900-hour rated life with cycle guidance

The lamp is rated for 1900 hours of operation in supported projectors such as the DP4K-23B, DP2K-23B and Galaxy 4K-23 series. Internal research shows that 2-hour on/off cycles with 10 minutes off can delay flicker onset by up to 30% compared with 11-hour continuous runs.

High-output xenon thermal profile

As a 4200W xenon source, the lamp generates substantial heat and requires the projector's factory cooling system to maintain stable output. Normal operation produces noticeable fan noise from the host unit. Power draw matches the 4200W rating during steady-state ignition.

Will the 4200W Xenon Luminity lamp operate in my DP2K-23B projector without modification?

The lamp is listed for DP2K-23B, DP4K-19B and DP4K-23B among other Barco models, so it will install in those units.

How can I verify the 1900 hour rating is being reached in daily use?

Monitor the projector's built-in lamp timer; it records accumulated hours and will indicate when the 1900 hour service interval is reached.

Does the box include the R9855974 housing or just the bare Ushio DXL-40BAF bulb?

The product is supplied as a complete projector lamp module ready for installation; no separate housing purchase is required.
