Digital Cinema Xenon Replacement Lamp

The Jaspertronics DP4K-32B-7kW-LAMP is a 7000W Ushio DXL-70BA xenon projector lamp built for Barco digital cinema projectors. It serves cinemas and installation technicians replacing lamps in compatible DP-series and HDQ-series units. The lamp carries Ushio part number 5002239 and Barco part number R9855966.

300-hour rated life with flicker guidance

The lamp is rated for 300 hours of operation. Internal research indicates that on/off cycles of two hours on and ten minutes off can delay flicker onset by up to 30 percent compared with continuous 11-hour runs. It supports models including DP-3000, DP2K-32B, DP4K-32B, DP4K-32Bx2, HDQ-2K40 and HDQ-4K35.

Fits approved Barco projectors.

This replacement lamp slots directly into the listed Barco digital cinema projectors without additional adapters. It frees operators from sourcing separate OEM part numbers by matching both Ushio and Barco references. Buyers needing longer rated life or different wattage should verify alternative approved lamps for their specific projector model.

Questions about this item

Will the 7000W DXL-70BA lamp run correctly in a DP2K-32B projector I already own?

The lamp is listed as compatible with the DP2K-32B alongside the DP4K-32B and other Barco digital cinema models, so it will operate in that projector.

How can I verify the lamp is performing correctly after installation?

A stable, flicker-free image at full brightness and the projector reporting normal lamp hours indicate correct operation; the manufacturer notes that 2-hour on/off cycles can delay flicker onset by up to 30% versus continuous 11-hour runs.

Does the box include the lamp module only, or are cables and a replacement filter also supplied?

The product is the Ushio DXL-70BA xenon lamp module (part 5002239 / Barco R9855966); no cables, filters or other accessories are mentioned in the specifications.
