Genuine 280W lamp and housing module fits Sony VPL-VW520ES, VPL-VW550ES, VPL-VW55ES, VPL-VW570ES, VPL-VW665ES, VPL-VW675ES, VPL-VW695ES and VPL-VW715ES projectors
This Jaspertronics LMP-H280 lamp and housing module is built for Sony VPL-VW520ES, VPL-VW550ES, VPL-VW55ES, VPL-VW570ES, VPL-VW665ES, VPL-VW675ES, VPL-VW695ES and VPL-VW715ES projectors. It serves owners of these specific models who need a direct replacement lamp assembly. Buyers with other Sony projectors or different brands cannot use this module.
The lamp operates at 280W maximum and 245W minimum with a 1.0 AC current rating and 19.4 voltage specification. These electrical characteristics define its thermal output and power draw during normal projection use. The unit weighs .9990 and arrives in new condition with original internal components.
Supplied as a complete lamp and housing unit, it fits directly into the compatible Sony projectors without separate housing installation. The module frees the user from handling bare bulbs and aligns with the projector's existing lamp compartment. It includes a one-year warranty. Installers who need bare lamps or different connector types should look elsewhere.

Power off and unplug the projector, wait for full cool-down, remove the lamp cover, release the retaining screws, slide out the old module, insert the new LMP-H280 housing until it seats firmly, re-tighten the screws, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — the timer reset is the step most often forgotten.
The 280 W / 245 W lamp itself is the only consumable; after its rated hours the brightness drops and the module must be swapped again — no filters or other parts require service on this housing.
Sustained operation pushes the 280 W lamp toward its thermal and brightness half-life limit before any other component in the housing reaches a constraint.
