Purpose-built replacement lamp

This 380W discharge lamp is engineered as a direct replacement for the YAFENG XT-9000 moving-head fixture and a wide range of compatible beam units. It delivers 20,000 lumens at a 7,500K colour temperature with an 80 CRI for stage, club, concert and house-of-worship applications.

Straightforward bare-bulb swap

The lamp arrives as a bare bulb measuring 58 x 58 x 66 mm with a 1.2 mm arc gap and 31.42 mm working distance. Installation requires standard moving-head lamp access; the any-position burn rating removes orientation constraints, but take care not to touch the quartz envelope to avoid premature failure.

Ideal for operators maintaining listed fixtures

Venues running YAFENG XT-9000, ACME XP-380, Martin ERA 500 Hybrid IP or the other named models will find a matched light source rated for 1,500 hours average life. Buyers needing a different wattage, base type or longer-rated module should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the lamp is operating correctly after installation?

The fixture should strike immediately and produce a stable white beam at 7,500 K with 20,000 lumen output; no flicker or colour shift indicates the 380 W 18R arc is seated properly.

What comes in the box and what must I source separately?

The package contains the bare MSD380R18 discharge bulb only; you will need to supply the reflector housing, mounting clips and any fixture-specific wiring for the YAFENG XT-9000.

Which version matches my YAFENG XT-9000 moving head?

Choose the 380 W 18R model coded MSD380R18 — it is the sole variant listed for the XT-9000 fixture and fits the 58 × 58 × 66 mm envelope with 1.2 mm arc gap.
