12-pack cuttable silicone pads

The Jayen 5x40 Matte Silicone Applicator arrives as a 12-pack of translucent, self-adhesive silicone sheets. Each sheet measures 5 by 40 inches and can be trimmed to any shape with scissors. The soft, eco-friendly silicone is harmless and designed to stay fixed once applied to a clean surface. Homeowners, renters and DIYers use them to stop furniture sliding, silence cabinet doors and protect floors from scratches.

Thermals noise and power

These pads are passive silicone pieces with no moving parts, electronics or power draw. They generate zero heat and make no sound of their own. By damping vibration they reduce the noise of doors, drawers and appliances closing. The material remains stable across normal indoor temperatures and does not degrade through thermal cycling.

Build quality and daily use

Strong self-stick backing holds the cut pieces on glass, plastic, ceramic, wood, laminate, tile and vinyl without peeling. The 132-piece total count across the pack gives enough material for beds, cabinets, sofas, tables, stools, laptops, keyboards and equipment frames. Silicone stays pliable so it conforms to slight surface texture while resisting permanent compression. Not suited for buyers who need a rigid structural shim or a permanent mechanical fastener.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 5x40 inch silicone sheets and what step is often missed?

Clean the surface thoroughly, peel the backing paper, press the adhesive side down firmly, then cut to shape; the step often missed is ensuring the surface is completely dry and free of dust before sticking.

Will the adhesive on these 12 pads need replacement over time?

The self-stick backing is designed to stay in place without coming off; if adhesion weakens after long use, simply clean the surface and apply a new pad from the pack.

What limit appears first when these pads are under constant load?

The 5x40 inch translucent silicone material resists sliding and scratching on hardwood, tile, laminate and vinyl; the first limit is the adhesive bond if the mounting surface is not kept clean.
