What the gauge set does

The JB Industries M2-22231 manifold gauge set measures pressure in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. It includes three hoses and two valves for connecting to service ports. The gauges display readings for R-22, R-404A and R-410A refrigerants. Technicians use it to charge, evacuate and diagnose cooling circuits.

Sustained-load behaviour

Each gauge reads from 30 in Hg vacuum up to 500 psi on the low side and 0 to 800 psi on the high side. Accuracy is rated at +/-3-2-3 percent across the full scale. Brass construction resists corrosion during repeated exposure to refrigerant oils. The 5 ft hoses remain flexible during extended service sessions.

Practical interface limits

Connections use standard 1/4 in flare fittings common on manifold hoses. The three-hose layout covers high-side, low-side and centre charging or recovery lines. No provision is made for additional refrigerant scales or digital logging. Users needing four-valve bodies or larger hose diameters will require a different manifold.
