7.1.4 CH Sound Bar System

The JBL BAR-1000-MK2 is a 7.1.4 channel sound bar system designed for home cinema enthusiasts. It includes a main bar, a 10 inch wireless subwoofer and detachable wireless rear speakers. Four up-firing drivers in the bar and rear units create overhead and surround effects. The package also includes a four-year Amber protection plan alongside the standard one-year manufacturer warranty.

Living-room cinema, not portable audio

This system suits viewers who want immersive Dolby Atmos and DTS:X playback from streaming services or disc players without running speaker cables. MultiBeam 3.0 and PureVoice 2.0 enhance room-filling sound and dialogue clarity. Buyers needing a compact all-in-one bar, portable Bluetooth speaker or a simple TV audio upgrade should look at smaller alternatives.

Detachable rear speakers with 10-hour battery

The wireless rear speakers detach from the main bar and run on built-in batteries rated for up to 10 hours of playback. They recharge when docked on the sound bar. If your room layout prevents placing powered rear speakers or you cannot accommodate the charging cycle, this design will not fit your installation.
