7.1.4 Channel Sound Bar

The JBL BAR-1000-MK2 is a 7.1.4 channel sound bar system that includes a 10-inch wireless subwoofer and detachable rear speakers. It delivers panoramic surround sound through four up-firing speakers and supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding. The system is designed for residential home theatre use and comes with a three-year Amber Protection Plan. A remote control is supplied for convenient operation.

Living-room cinema enthusiasts

This system suits viewers who want object-based audio with overhead effects and the flexibility of wireless rear speakers that offer up to 10 hours of playtime. Built-in MultiBeam 3.0 and PureVoice 2.0 technologies enhance spatial immersion and dialogue clarity. Buyers who need more than three HDMI inputs or require a dedicated centre-channel driver should consider alternative configurations. The sound bar also supports major music streaming services and voice ecosystems via the JBL ONE App.

Three HDMI inputs with 4K Dolby Vision passthrough

The sound bar provides three HDMI video inputs that support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision passthrough at 4K resolution. An HDMI eARC connection allows lossless audio return from a compatible television. Additional connectivity includes optical, USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for diverse source options. This input count and video passthrough capability determine whether the bar can serve as the central hub for a specific AV setup.
