11.1.4 Channel Sound Bar System

The JBL BAR1300X combines a sound bar, wireless subwoofer and two detachable battery-powered surround speakers into an 11.1.4 channel home-theatre system. It targets viewers who want Dolby Atmos and DTS:X height effects without running speaker wire around the room. The surrounds recharge when docked on the main bar and run for up to 12 hours on a charge.

Upgrade From Basic Sound Bars

This package replaces a stereo or 2.1 sound bar that relies on virtual surround processing. The jump is worth it when you want discrete overhead and rear channels driven by six up-firing drivers and dedicated rear modules. It also adds the Austere 2.5 metre 8K HDMI cable with 48 Gbps bandwidth and eARC for lossless audio return from a compatible TV.

Sustained Output With 1170 W Total Power

The system delivers 1170 W total power split between the 650 W sound bar, 300 W subwoofer and two 110 W surround speakers. Six racetrack drivers, five tweeters and four up-firing full-range drivers share the load so dynamics stay clean during long films or music sessions. PureVoice technology keeps dialogue clear even at high volume levels.
