JBL Boombox 4 Squad Camo Portable Speaker

The JBL Boombox 4 Squad Camo is a portable Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor gatherings and extended listening sessions. It delivers powerful JBL Pro Sound through two woofers, two tweeters and three passive radiators. AI Sound Boost analyses audio in real time to reduce distortion at high volume. Bass Boost modes let you switch between deep or vibrant low-end response.

IP68 Waterproof Dustproof Build

The speaker carries an IP68 rating, making it fully waterproof and dustproof for beach, poolside or backyard use. Its redesigned chassis is larger yet lighter than previous versions for easier transport. A replaceable battery extends the product's usable lifespan. Construction incorporates recycled materials. Auracast compatibility allows linking with other supported speakers.

Up To 34 Hours Playtime With Playtime Boost

The unit provides up to 34 hours of playtime on a single charge when using Playtime Boost. AI Sound Boost manages amplifier output to maintain clarity while conserving energy during loud playback. Questions about this item

What does the IP68 rating mean for water and dust resistance?

IP68 means the speaker is fully dustproof and can withstand continuous immersion in water beyond one metre, so sand, rain or a pool splash will not stop the music.

How much does the speaker weigh and will it fit in a standard backpack?

The Boombox 4 is larger but lighter than previous models, so it fits in most large backpacks and remains comfortable to carry by its built-in handle.

How do I pair a second device using Auracast and what step do people miss?

Press the Auracast button on the speaker, then join the broadcast from the second device's Bluetooth menu; the step many miss is enabling Auracast sharing in the source device's settings first.
