All-in-One Column PA System

The JBL IRX ONE is a portable line array speaker system designed for solo performers, presenters and small venues. It integrates a 3-channel mixer, Bluetooth 5.0 streaming and dbx automatic feedback suppression into a single column that can be carried with one hand. The C-shaped array uses six 2" high-frequency drivers and an 8" bass-reflex woofer for wide, seamless coverage.

Sustained Output and Mixer Behaviour

The column delivers consistent front-to-back coverage with low-frequency response down to 40 Hz during extended sets. Two ¼"/XLR combo inputs provide 48V phantom power for condenser microphones, while a ¼" Hi-Z input accommodates instruments. Soundcraft Easy Ducking automatically lowers music volume when speech is detected, and five EQ presets tailor the response for speech or music without manual tweaking.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The bass-reflex woofer design produces natural, smooth low end without audible port turbulence at typical listening levels. Three column spacer options set the top height at 43.5", 62" or full extension, allowing the array to sit on the floor or on a stand while maintaining directed coverage. Bluetooth 5.0 streaming remains stable over long distances during normal operation.

Questions about this item

How quiet is the IRX ONE when it runs all day at a presentation?

The column design uses a C-shaped array with six 2" tweeters and an 8" woofer that reaches 40 Hz without a fan, so it stays silent during extended use.

What cables or sources do I need to connect before the IRX ONE will produce sound?

Plug a microphone or instrument into the two ¼"/XLR combo inputs with 48 V phantom power, use the ¼" Hi-Z input for a guitar, or pair a phone over Bluetooth 5.0.

Can I keep my older passive speakers and run them from the IRX ONE's mix-out?

The ¼" balanced mix-out sends a line-level signal, so you can feed an external power amp driving legacy speakers while the IRX ONE handles the main mix.
