Competitive audio for gamers

The JBL Quantum 100M2 is a wired over-ear gaming headset built around the JBL QuantumSOUND Signature. It targets players who want accurate positional cues such as footsteps and explosions during competitive matches. The detachable boom microphone adds clear voice communication for team coordination. It works across multiple platforms using a standard 3.5 mm connection.

Comfort built for long sessions

Breathable fabric ear cushions with memory foam reduce heat build-up during extended play. The lightweight headband distributes pressure evenly so the headset remains comfortable over many hours. A windshield foam piece is included to minimise wind noise on the microphone. The wired design means there is no battery to manage or recharge.

Simple plug-and-play setup

The 3.5 mm jack provides immediate compatibility with PCs running Windows 10, Xbox One consoles and other devices that support the same connector. Windows Sonic Spatial Sound is supported natively on compatible systems for virtual surround. No additional software or drivers are required to start playing. The detachable microphone lets you remove it when only listening is needed.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm plug work with my older controller that only has a single headset jack?

Yes, the 3.5 mm connector carries both audio and microphone signals through one jack, so it fits older controllers with a combined port.

How can I confirm the Windows Sonic spatial sound is active after I plug the headset in?

Open Windows Sound settings, select the headset as the output device, and enable the Windows Sonic for Headphones toggle in the spatial sound tab.

Does the package include everything I need to start gaming, or do I need a separate adapter?

The box contains the headset, a detachable boom microphone, a windshield foam cover for the mic, and the quick-start guide; no extra adapter is required for devices with a 3.5 mm port.
