JBL Soundgear Clips Purple Open-Ear Earbuds

Open-Ear Earbuds with Angled Speakers

The JBL Soundgear Clips Purple use OpenSound Technology with angled drivers and a SonicArc design to deliver private audio while keeping ear canals open. They suit commuters, office workers and outdoor exercisers who need to hear traffic, colleagues or announcements without removing the buds. A flexible memory-wire hook and lightweight 0.8 g build keep them stable through long sessions.

32-Hour Battery with Quick Charge

Each charge provides 8 hours of continuous playtime and the case adds 24 hours for a total of 32 hours. A 10-minute top-up restores 3 hours of listening when time is short. Heavy users who stream audio all day will find the reserve sufficient, while marathon travellers may need a power bank for multi-day trips without mains access.

IP54 Water and Dust Resistance

The earbuds carry an IP54 rating, protecting them against sweat, light rain and dust ingress during workouts or daily commutes. They are not rated for submersion or high-pressure jets, so swimmers or users needing full waterproofing should look elsewhere. The charging case shares the same environmental limits.
