  • 40 mm mica dome drivers deliver Hi-Res Audio and JBL Pro Sound

Smart Transmitter Connectivity

The Smart Tx transmitter connects to any audio source using USB-C, 3.5 mm or airline jacks and provides a built-in touch screen for app-free control. This makes the headphones suitable for travellers and office workers who frequently switch between laptops, in-flight entertainment systems and older devices without Bluetooth. Buyers who need native multipoint Bluetooth pairing without a dongle will not find that capability here.

Sustained Listening Performance

Up to 70 hours of total playback are available with noise cancelling off, while adaptive noise cancelling reduces that to 40 hours per charge. The 8-microphone system continuously monitors the environment and adjusts cancellation in real time for consistent isolation on long flights or open-plan offices. Listeners who require more than 40 hours of active noise cancelling between charges should consider other options.

Hi-Res Audio Driver Specification

40 mm mica dome drivers deliver a dynamic frequency response from 10 Hz to 40 kHz at 18 ohms impedance, meeting Hi-Res Audio certification requirements. This specification determines whether the headphones can reproduce the extended bandwidth found in lossless streaming catalogues. Audiophiles who demand planar magnetic or electrostatic transducer types will not be served by this dynamic driver design.
