  • Smart Tx transmitter connects non-Bluetooth sources via USB-C, 3.5mm or airplane jacks with built-in touch screen
  • 40mm mica dome drivers deliver Hi-Res Audio and JBL Pro Sound for detailed listening
  • Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 uses eight microphones to adjust in real time and block ambient noise
  • Spatial 360 Audio with head tracking creates immersive sound for movies, music and gaming
  • Up to 70 hours total playback or 40 hours with ANC on for extended sessions

Smart Tx Transmitter

The Smart Tx transmitter connects to any audio source using USB-C, 3.5mm or airplane jacks and features a built-in touch screen for app-free control. This lets you use the headphones wirelessly with devices that lack Bluetooth, such as in-flight entertainment systems or older media players. It expands compatibility beyond standard wireless pairing without requiring additional software.

Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0

An eight-microphone system powers Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, adjusting in real time to block ambient noise or let sound in through Ambient Aware. The technology is designed for environments where background sound varies, such as commutes or offices. Buyers who need stronger isolation for very loud industrial settings may find the adaptive approach less consistent than fixed high-attenuation models.

70-hour total playback

The headphones deliver up to 70 hours of total playback, with 40 hours available when noise cancelling is active. This capacity supports extended travel or multiple work sessions between charges. Users who require several days of continuous ANC use without access to charging should verify that the 40-hour figure meets their needs.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the model with the Smart Tx transmitter or a standard Bluetooth-only version?

The Smart Tx transmitter adds a touch-screen dongle that plugs into USB-C, 3.5 mm or airline jacks so you can use the headphones with non-Bluetooth sources without pairing.

What does 70 hours of total playback mean for daily use with noise cancelling on?

With Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 active you get roughly 40 hours per charge; turning ANC off extends that toward the 70-hour maximum.

Does the 3.5 mm connection support hi-res audio or is it limited to standard quality?

The 3.5 mm analog cable carries an analogue signal, so hi-res benefit comes only over the USB-C digital link or Bluetooth; the cable ensures compatibility when digital paths are unavailable.
