JBL Tune 500BT Wireless On-Ear Headphones

The JBL Tune 500BT are wireless on-ear headphones built for listeners who want cable-free freedom with a familiar brand sound. They connect through Bluetooth 4.1 and weigh 155g, making them light enough for daily commutes or desk sessions. The foldable frame simplifies storage in a bag or drawer. They suit anyone who values quick pairing and hands-free calls over audiophile-grade isolation.

16-Hour Battery Life With Two-Hour Recharge

A full charge delivers up to 16 hours of music playback with Bluetooth active. When the battery runs low, a two-hour top-up restores full capacity, while a five-minute speed charge adds roughly one hour of listening time. The 300mAh lithium-ion polymer cell covers a typical workday but will not stretch through a long-haul flight without a mid-journey boost. Heavy users should plan a nightly charge routine.

32mm Drivers And Foldable Comfort

The 32mm dynamic drivers produce the JBL Pure Bass signature across a 20Hz to 20kHz range at 32 ohms impedance. Soft ear cushions and a padded headband distribute the 155g weight for extended comfort, though on-ear pressure may fatigue some listeners after several hours. A single-button remote handles calls, voice assistants and playback, while multi-point pairing lets you switch between two devices without re-pairing. The package includes a charging cable and documentation only.

Questions about this item

Will the 32 mm drivers and 32 ohm impedance work well with an older phone that has a weaker headphone amp?

The 32 mm dynamic drivers and 32 ohm impedance are easy to drive, so even an older phone with a modest headphone amp can deliver the 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and JBL Pure Bass sound without strain.

How can I confirm the Bluetooth 4.1 link and 16 hour battery are performing correctly after pairing?

After pairing, check that the headphones show as connected on both devices for multi-point switching, then play music continuously; reaching roughly 16 hours of playback before the low-battery tone confirms the 300 mAh lithium-ion polymer cell is healthy.

Does the box include a USB power adapter for the 2 hour charge cycle or only the charging cable?

The package contains the TUNE 500BT headphones, a charging cable, a warranty/warning card and a quick-start safety sheet; a USB power adapter is not included and must be sourced separately.
