What you get

These are new JBL TUNE680NC on-ear headphones in white. They use 32mm drivers and Bluetooth v6 to deliver JBL Pure Bass Sound with a 20Hz–20KHz response. Adaptive noise cancelling and two beamforming microphones handle calls and ambient reduction. Up to 76 hours of battery life and a two-hour charge keep them running.

Build and connections

The foldable frame weighs 0.36 and comes with a USB-C to 3.5mm analog cable for wired listening. Multi-point Bluetooth lets you pair two devices and switch between them without re-pairing. The JBL Headphone App adds Voice Aware, TalkThru and Ambient Aware controls for daily flexibility.

Battery, heat and noise

A full charge takes two hours and yields up to 76 hours of wireless playtime. Passive 3.5mm use draws no battery at all. On-ear pads and adaptive noise cancelling reduce outside sound without active fan noise, so the only heat is from normal driver operation during long sessions.

Questions about this item

What Bluetooth version do the JBL TUNE680NC-WHITE headphones use and what does it limit?

They use Bluetooth v6, which caps the maximum wireless range and audio codec support to the limits of that standard.

What are the folded dimensions of the JBL TUNE680NC-WHITE and what clearance do they need in a bag?

The folded size is 2.8 inches wide, 0.67 inches deep and 2.8 inches high, so they fit in a small pouch or laptop sleeve.

How do you pair the JBL TUNE680NC-WHITE with two devices and what step do users often miss?

Enable multipoint in the JBL Headphone App, pair the first device, then pair the second; the step often missed is turning on multipoint before the second pairing.
