USB-C to Dual DisplayPort Adapter

This USB-C adapter connects a host device with DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 support to two external monitors via DisplayPort. It weighs .05 kilograms and is finished in grey. Windows systems can drive both displays independently using MST technology. Mac OS is limited to mirror mode across the two screens.

Windows users needing dual 4K displays

Builders running Windows can extend the desktop across two monitors at 3840x2160@60Hz or run a single display at 4K@120Hz. The adapter also handles 1440p and 1080p at 60Hz. Mac users who require independent extended desktops on two external screens should look elsewhere because Mac OS does not support MST.

DP 2.0 cable required for 4K

Achieving the stated 4K resolution demands a DP 2.0 cable or better; lesser cables will not deliver the full bandwidth. The package includes the adapter only, so buyers must supply their own certified cables. No software or drivers are bundled.

Questions about this item

Does my laptop need a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 to use this JIUHCORY-DUALHDMI adapter?

Yes, the host USB-C port must support video output through DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 for the adapter to function.

Will this adapter extend two different 4K@60Hz screens on my Windows laptop that only has a single USB-C video port?

Windows supports MST so two DisplayPort monitors can run at 3840x2160@60Hz from one USB-C connection.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering 4K@120Hz to a single monitor after I plug it in?

Check the display settings on your OS; it should show 3840x2160 at 120Hz when a DP 2.0 cable and a 4K-capable source are used.
