The JJC magnetic battery tester checks cylindrical and button cells at three voltage levels: 1.5 V, 3 V and 3.7 V. It accepts AA, AAA, C, D, 18650, 14500, 16340, 10440, 20700, 26650, RCR123A, CR2, CR123 and many common button types including LR44, LR41, LR43, CR2032, CR2025, CR1632, CR1616, CR2450, CR1225 and CR1/3N. A strong magnet holds each cell in place while the bar display shows poor, weak or good condition.

Voltage range selector decides compatibility

The tester has a push-button selector for the three supported voltage indices: 1.5 V, 3 V and 3.7 V. You must set the selector to match the cell you are testing before pressing the test button. Cells outside these three nominal voltages cannot be measured, and stacking more than one cell at a time is explicitly prohibited by the manufacturer.
