Compression crimper for FC, LC, MT-RJ, SC, SMA and ST fiber connectors with five die sizes from .134 to .190 inch
The Jonard UC-8039 is a manual compression crimper built for terminating fibre-optic connectors. Its steel frame accepts FC, LC, MT-RJ, SC, SMA and ST connector styles. The tool measures 9.5 inches long and is supplied new with standard cushion grips.
Technicians who need to crimp the six compatible connector types on fibre cables will find the preset die positions match the .134, .139, .151, .178 and .190 inch settings. The tool lacks an integrated wire cutter or stripper, so users requiring those functions must carry separate tools.
The die set provides exactly five crimp sizes ranging from .134 to .190 inch with no adjustability between them. If a connector requires a different crimp diameter, this crimper cannot accommodate it.
