Complete growing kit

The Joseph Enterprises CP980-01 Chia Pet Planter Thing supplies a pottery figure, a plastic drip tray and three seed packets so the project can start immediately. It is aimed at adults who enjoy novelty decor or want a light-hearted gift that arrives ready to assemble.

Indoor display piece

The planter sits on any flat surface with the included tray catching excess water, so no separate saucer or protective mat is required. After each harvest the pottery can be washed and replanted, freeing the owner from buying replacement containers.

Steady sprouting cycle

Seeds germinate and reach full coverage in one to two weeks, then maintain a green coat with routine watering rather than a quick burst of growth. The cycle repeats indefinitely, making it unsuitable for anyone who wants a permanent, maintenance-free ornament.
