JPWEB 2-Pack Lightning to 3.5mm Aux Adapter headphone

Two-pack Lightning to 3.5 mm adapter

This two-pack provides a Lightning to 3.5 mm audio adapter for Apple devices that lack a built-in headphone jack. Each dongle is Apple MFi certified and supports plug-and-play operation with no software required. The 7.1-inch cable uses an aluminium housing and a braided nylon jacket for durability. It is designed for listening to music and media through wired headphones.

Listeners with wired 3.5 mm headphones

The adapters suit anyone who wants to keep using existing 3.5 mm headphones on a Lightning-equipped iPhone, iPad or iPod. They do not support telephone calls, so users who need a headset for voice conversations should look elsewhere. The Lightning connector also means they cannot be used with USB-C or 3.5 mm source devices.

Apple MFi certified Lightning audio dongle

The single specification that decides fit is the Apple MFi certified Lightning connector combined with a 3.5 mm output jack. This confirms the adapter will communicate correctly with the listed iOS devices and deliver analogue audio to standard headphones. Without MFi certification a dongle may not work reliably.
