This MagSafe charger works with iPhone 12 through 17 series devices including Pro and Plus models. It also supports AirPods with wireless charging cases from generations 1 to 4 and Pro versions. The magnetic alignment keeps phones secure during use.

Upgrade from Basic Wireless Pads

The integrated 4.9 ft cable combines USB-A and USB-C connectors for flexible power input. It replaces separate cables and loose pads that shift on nightstands. The jump is worth it when you want one thin charger that stays aligned in the dark.

7.5W Phone Output with 150W Adapter Headroom

Maximum wireless output reaches 15W, while iPhone charging caps at 7.5W. An 18W or 20W adapter is required; 5W and 12W units will not work. The charger runs warm at times and software may pause above 80 percent until temperature drops.

Questions about this item

What thickness and cable length does the WP1501 need on a desk or nightstand?

The pad is .23 inch thick and has a 4.9 ft integrated cable so it sits flat and reaches a nearby USB A or USB C power adapter without extra cords.

Which power adapter wattage must I plug into the dual USB ports for the MagSafe pad to work?

Connect an 18W or 20W or higher USB C or USB A adapter; 5W or 12W adapters will not supply enough power for magnetic wireless charging.

When should I replace the integrated cable or the pad itself?

Replace the unit if the 4.9 ft cable shows fraying or the magnetic alignment weakens; the pad has no user-serviceable parts and the cable is not detachable.
