Ready-to-install lamp module

This JVC DLA-HD990 replacement lamp arrives as a fully assembled 200W UHP bulb inside its housing. It is built for owners of the compatible JVC projector who need a direct swap without handling a bare bulb. The module is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time. Condition is new.

Simple swap, no bare-bulb work

Installation consists of removing the old lamp unit and seating the new module in its place, a process the supplier describes as easy because the bulb is already secured in the housing. The main risk is forgetting to reset the projector’s lamp-hour counter after fitting the new unit, which can cause premature replacement warnings. No special tools are mentioned in the data.

For DLA-HD990 owners needing a drop-in spare

This lamp suits buyers who want a genuine-compatible 200W module rated for 2,000 hours and do not wish to source a bare bulb and housing separately. It is not for users whose projector requires a different wattage, a different lamp code, or a bare-bulb-only replacement. Buyers needing a longer-rated lamp life should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the lamp is operating correctly after installing it in my DLA-HD990?

The projector should power up without error lights and display a bright, stable image; the internal hour counter will begin tracking toward the rated 2,000 Hrs.

What does the BHL5010-S module include and is anything else required?

It arrives as a complete unit with the 200W UHP bulb already fitted inside the housing, so no extra parts or tools are needed for installation.

Which version of the DLA-HD990 lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

All four versions meet ISO9001 quality checks for ignition, voltage and run-time; select the genuine OEM module for original-spec performance or the compatible version for a lower cost.
