JVC DLA-X970 replacement lamp 265W

This is a new OEM replacement projector lamp module for the JVC DLA-X970. It arrives as a fully assembled Ushio NSH 265W bulb inside its housing, ready for immediate installation. The unit is built to ISO9001 standards and undergoes strict quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time. It suits owners needing a direct, manufacturer-grade lamp swap.

Check projector model and lamp code before ordering

Verify that your projector is the JVC DLA-X970 and that the original lamp code matches PK-L2615U. Ensure the existing housing uses a 265W NSH bulb type so the electrical and mechanical fit is correct. Confirm you are comfortable opening the lamp door and securing the new module without tools not supplied with the projector.

Replaces a dim or expired PK-L2615U module

This lamp replaces the original PK-L2615U assembly when brightness has faded or the projector signals end of life. The jump is worth it when image quality has dropped below usable levels for cinema or presentation use. It is not for users wanting a different wattage, an alternative bulb technology, or a bare bulb without the housing.

Questions about this item

Does the JVC DLA-X970 lamp arrive with the Ushio NSH 265W bulb already fitted in the housing?

Yes, the module ships as a fully assembled PK-L2615U unit with the new Ushio NSH 265W bulb installed in the housing, so no separate bulb purchase or assembly is needed.

Which version should I pick — the OEM lamp from the original bulb maker, the JVC-sold OEM, the alternate OEM, or the compatible?

Choose the original OEM version for identical performance to the factory lamp, the JVC-sold OEM for brand-direct sourcing, the alternate OEM for a different maker meeting the same spec, or the compatible for a lower-cost option built with genuine OEM parts.

What does the 265 watt rating mean for brightness and heat in my DLA-X970 projector?

The 265W rating matches the projector's original design spec, delivering the intended light output and thermal profile so the cooling system and power supply operate exactly as engineered.
