JVC KW-X855BTS 2-DIN Digital Media Receiver car electronics accessory

Digital media receiver with Alexa

The JVC KW-X855BTS is a 2-DIN digital media receiver with an AM/FM tuner that does not play CDs. It adds Amazon Alexa voice control, Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming with dual phone connection, and a high-contrast two-line display featuring two-zone variable-color illumination. Smartphone integration covers iPhone via USB and Bluetooth, plus Android via Bluetooth, and the free JVC Remote app provides additional control.

Connectivity and expansion for flexible installs

Front and rear USB ports plus a front auxiliary input handle wired devices, while built-in Bluetooth enables hands-free calls, audio streaming and dual phone connection. The JVC Streaming DJ feature allows music streaming and control from up to five paired smartphones. A SiriusXM satellite radio tuner can be added separately, and independent crossovers for front, rear and subwoofer preamp outputs support multi-amplifier systems.

13-band equalizer with K2 processing

Audio tuning centres on a 13-band equalizer with 11 presets and digital time alignment. K2 technology improves digital sound for all music sources, and Sound Lift adjusts frequencies to virtually raise the sound stage from lower door speaker locations. High-resolution FLAC playback up to 24-bit/96kHz is supported alongside MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV files.
