IntelliEar Personal Sound Amplifier

The IntelliEar Personal Sound Amplifier is a battery-operated device designed for active lifestyles. It amplifies surrounding sounds up to 75 feet so the wearer can hear conversations, television or soft music more clearly. The unit fits either the left or right ear and resembles a standard cell-phone earpiece. Green color and soft foam handle provide comfort during extended wear.

Amplification reach and power limits

Sound is captured and boosted at distances up to 75 feet, making dialogue in theaters or quiet rooms easier to follow. The amplifier runs on two AG13 batteries and six bonus cells are included in the package. When the batteries are depleted the device stops amplifying until they are replaced. No rechargeable option or external power input is provided.

Fit, power and everyday use

The earpiece sits on either ear without requiring a custom mold, freeing the user from behind-the-ear hooks or headbands. Two AG13 cells power the unit and the included bonus pack extends operating time before a battery change is needed. Because the device is not programmable, it suits general listening situations rather than specific hearing-loss profiles. Users who need frequency shaping or wireless streaming should consider other solutions.
