5-Pack Aluminium Penlights

The Kaito Mini LED Flashlight 5-Pack S00541 supplies five aluminium penlights, each delivering 30 lumens from a pre-installed pair of AAA batteries. They are intended for quick tasks such as night walks, bedroom reading, camping, hiking, fishing or BBQ lighting where a lightweight, pocketable beam is sufficient.

Sustained Output and Battery Life

The manufacturer rates the LED at 100000 hours of life, while the included zinc-carbon cells provide roughly four hours of continuous illumination per penlight. Brightness will taper as the non-rechargeable batteries drain, so the lights suit intermittent use better than extended duty cycles.

Compatibility Checklist

Verify that the 5.125-inch length and half-inch diameter fit your pocket, tool pouch or glove compartment. The units are not water resistant, so they must be kept dry. Remember to remove the red insulated sheet from each tail-cap before first use and store batteries separately if the penlights will sit unused for long periods.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 30-lumen LED produce when the flashlight runs for the full 4-hour working time?

The LED is rated for 100,000 hours of life and draws little power from the two AAA cells, so the body stays only slightly warm during a full 4-hour cycle.

What must I already own to start using the five penlights straight away?

Nothing extra is required — each of the five lights ships with two pre-installed AAA zinc-carbon batteries; just remove the red insulated sheet and press the tail button.

Will the 15-metre beam distance work well alongside my older incandescent penlight for close-up inspection?

Yes, the 30-lumen LED throws a focused 15-metre beam that complements a dimmer incandescent light, giving brighter detail at the same working distance.
