Kaito TL004 flashlight overview

The Kaito TL004 is a rechargeable LED flashlight built for outdoor and emergency use. Its compact aluminium body measures 1.65 by 1.65 by 9.37 inches and weighs 0.34 kilograms. The light produces a stated 90000 lumens output and runs for up to 12 hours on its lithium-ion cell. Five selectable modes cover high, medium, low, strobe and SOS signalling.

Installation and common issues

No installation is required beyond inserting the supplied battery and charging the unit. The LCD screen stays black if the battery is fitted in reverse, so verify polarity before closing the tail cap. The zoomable head adjusts between spot and flood beams by sliding the bezel. The sealed construction provides waterproof performance for rain or snow exposure.

Practical limits of the interface

The single-button interface cycles through all five modes sequentially, which can be slow when a specific mode is needed quickly. Holding the button for five seconds powers the light off from any mode. The LCD shows remaining power but does not indicate voltage or charge current. Runtime drops significantly on the highest output setting compared to the 12-hour figure.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the LCD display is showing battery level correctly after I install the cell?

Insert the lithium-ion battery with the positive end facing the head; the LCD will light up and show remaining power in real time — if the screen stays black, remove the cell and reinstall it in the opposite direction.

What comes in the pack and do I need to buy a charger or extra cells separately?

The pack includes one TL004 flashlight body and one lithium-ion cell; the light recharges via its built-in port so no separate charger or additional batteries are required.

Which version of the TL004 should I choose for a balance of runtime and brightness?

The single model listed delivers up to 90000 lumens on high and runs for 12 hours on a full charge, giving the only available combination of output and endurance.
