DLC for Tropico 5 strategy fans

This downloadable add-on expands the base game Tropico 5 with a supernatural storyline centred on a mysterious cult and the Inquisition. Players take on the role of El Presidente to combat a curse using new divine powers and special services. The content is delivered as a Steam code and requires the original game installed on the same platform to function.

Inquisition HQ and cultist missions

The DLC introduces a dedicated Inquisition headquarters building that unlocks unique edicts and gameplay mechanics for rooting out cultists. New missions challenge players to balance the Inquisition's influence while preventing them from seizing too much control. These additions refresh the core city-building loop with fresh strategic decisions and narrative events.

Check Steam region and base game ownership

Questions about this item

Will this DLC need any future updates or patches after I install it?

As a downloadable add-on for Tropico 5 on Steam, updates are delivered automatically through the Steam client whenever the publisher releases them.

What stops me from playing this DLC continuously for long sessions?

The only requirement is owning the base game Tropico 5 on Steam; there are no usage limits, subscription checks or time-gated mechanics in the DLC itself.

Does running this DLC all day increase fan noise, heat or power draw on my PC?

The DLC adds new missions and buildings to the existing Tropico 5 engine, so system load matches the base game and does not introduce extra background processes.
